How to Unlock a Password-Protected PDF Online

How to unlock a PDF
- Go to riqa.app/unlockpdf
- Upload your PDF
- Enter the PDF password
- Click Unlock PDF and download your unlocked file
The password protection is permanently removed from the downloaded copy. Your original file is unchanged.
A few things to know
You need to know the password. Riqa removes protection using the password you provide — it does not crack or bypass encryption. If you have forgotten the password, this tool cannot help.
Only the downloaded copy is unlocked. The file you uploaded is not modified. You get a separate, unprotected version to download.
Permissions-only protection. Some PDFs are restricted for printing or editing but don't require a password to open. Riqa handles these the same way — enter the owner password if you have it, or try leaving it blank if the file has no open password.
